BUDGET HEARING NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. at the Sheridan Town Hall, a PUBLIC HEARING on the PROPOSED 2017 BUDGET for the Town of Sheridan will be held. A summary of the proposed budget is attached. The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection at the Clerk’s office or at www.sheridantownship.org.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
OF THE ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF SHERIDAN
Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, immediately following completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed year 2017 budget a special town meeting of the electors called pursuant to Sec. 60.12(1)(c) of Wisconsin Statutes by the Town Board for the following purposes will be held: 1.) To approve the town tax levy to be collected in 2017 pursuant to Sec. 60.10(1)(a) of Wisconsin Statutes; 2.) To approve the total highway expenditures for 2017 pursuant to Sec. 82.03 of Wisconsin Statutes; 3.) To authorize the Town Board to hire town officers as employees of the Town and set an hourly wage pursuant to Sec. 60.10(1)(g) of Wisconsin Statutes.
